A question of form

DRV has established itself as an umbrella for many interest groups. How a company is classified depends on the form: travel agency, tour operator, group or small or mid-sized company. The structure and orientation of the company decides on the type of membership.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

Ordinary Membership is open to

  • Commercial travel agencies
  • Other commercial travel agents and travel consultants
  • Commercial tour operators
  • Associations of commercial travel agencies and / or operators

Associated Membership is open to

  • Merchants
  • Partnerships and corporations

which intend to promote the goals of the Association but do not meet the prerequisites for ordinary membership.

Supporting Membership is open to

  • Natural persons who are not operating as merchants,
  • Non-commercial associations as well as
  • Companies with a registered office abroad

which intend to support the goals of the Association but do not meet the prerequisites for ordinary or associated membership. Individual persons may not become supporting members if they are employed by a DRV member company or if their employer could become a DRV member.
